INSTRUCTIONS FOR IMPLEMENTATION A. PREPARATORY WORK  Disconnect the external power supply plug accord. to the MM, chap. 024.40.00.B.  Remove accumulators from the airplane according to the MM, chap. 024.30.04.A.  Remove double passengers’ seats as necessary according to the MM, chap. 025.21.00, page 401.  Open the panels of the ceiling bay in the passengers’ compartment between frames 7 to 12 according to the MM, chap. 027.00.00, point 4.E.(3). B. DISMOUNTING  Disconnect and remove the 1410E wire from the E142 relay (between frames 10 to 11, RH – see B574 895X sheet 1 wiring diagram). C. MOUNTING  Solder the 1N5408 diode between terminals No. 1 and A of the E142 relay according to the B574 895X sheet 2 wiring diagram. Pay special attention to the correct orientation of the diode. Use material pos. 1, 2 of point 3.A. of this bulletin. Page: 4 L410UVP-E/546b Pages: 5 D. TESTS Ground Tests Check the ABC tabs extension: PROP FEATHERING, AUT. BANK CONTROL circuit breakers .................... check ON PCL ............................................................................ FINE PITCH TCL ............................................................................. to over 35 % torque position On the central control panel: AUT. BANK CONTROL, AUTO FEATHER switches .. check ON On the test panel of the left control panel: PROP FEATHERING AUTO button ........................... press and hold The green AUT. BANK CONTROL and AUTO FEATHER signals of both engines must light up within 5 seconds. TCL of one engine ..................................................... IDLE The green AUT. BANK CONTROL and AUTO FEATHER lights on the CWD must light off, and the white AUT. BANK CONTROL and FEATHER PUMP lights of the corresponding engine must light on for 12 to 15 seconds and amber ISOLATION VALVE light will light up to auto feathering system reset. Propeller feathering and opposite ABC tab extension ................................ check CAUTION AT LOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURES KEEP CHECK ON THE GAS GENERATOR SPEED, WHICH MUST BE AT LEAST 60 %. IF NECESSARY, INCREASE IMMEDIATELY THIS SPEED BY MEANS OF THE FUEL STOP COCK/EMERGENCY THROTTLE LEVER. TCL of the other engine ............................................. back to IDLE On the test panel of the left control panel: PROP FEATHERING AUTO button ........................... release On the overhead panel: PROP FEATHERING, AUT. BANK CONTROL circuit breakers .................... switch OFF and back ON On the central control panel: FUEL STOP COCK /EMERGENCY THROTTLE lever ............................... FINISHING WORK  Close the ceiling panels in the passengers’ compartment according to the MM, chap. 027.00.00, point 4.E.(20).  Install the passengers’ seats acc. to the MM, chap. 025.21.00, page 401.  Install the airplane accumulators according to the MM, chap. 024.30.04.A.  Insert the supplement into the respective airplane manual. 3.
