PLANNING INFORMATION EFFECTIVITY This Service Bulletin is applicable to: 7X aircraft with serial numbers 1 thru 400, 8X aircraft with serial numbers 401 and subsequent, that are not equipped with SPECU (401CR) P/N 051243-01 Amdt C. REASON The purpose of the Service Bulletin is to install a SPECU (401CR) P/N 051243-01 Amdt C. COMPLIANCE Mandatory as prescribed by the Airworthiness Authorities of the country of registration of the aircraft. Recommended to be performed during the next “36 M or 2400 FH” inspection, unless otherwise specified in an Airworthiness Directive issued by the country of registration of the aircraft. APPROVAL This Service Bulletin covers DASSAULT AVIATION modification FALCON 7X / 8X MB536 that has been approved under the authority of the DOA ref. EASA.21J.051. The technical content of this document is approved under the authority of the DOA ref. EASA.21J.051. LABOR Estimated labor-hours: Refer to Service Bulletin Commercial Summary. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Obey the general maintenance and safety precautions (TASK 20-00-00-910-801). PRELIMINARY STEPS The aircraft must be in the maintenance configuration (TASK 20-00-00-910-803). PROCEDURE Replace the SPECU (401CR) (TASK 27-11-13-900-801). At the end of the SPECU test (TASK 27-11-13-900-801 - "TEST"), inspect the SPPCU (301CR) for possible overheating and/or hydraulic leak marks.
