Subject: STATUS OF FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS
1. PURPOSE.
This circular provides the public with the current publication status of the loose
leaf Federal Aviation Regulations, prices, and order form. This Advisory Circular
will be updated later this year because of the frequent changes.
2. CANCELLATION.
AC 00-44HH, dated August 1996, is cancelled.
3. HOW TO ORDER.
a. Enclosed is an order form. one section for subscription orders and the other for publication orders.
b. Appendix 1 lists the parts sold as publication orders (single-sale basis); Appendix
2 lists the parts sold as subscription orders. The Special Federal Aviation ReguJa.
tions (SFAR) which are presently in effect are included in their related parts.
The listing ofSFARs is included in this Advisory Circular as Appendix 3.
Because of their infrequent changes the following parts have recently been moved
over to single sale: Parts 36, 43, 45, 103, 137, 139, 150 and 161. Part 16 is
new and is- also available for single sale.
c. Federal A viati.on Regulations are sold by the Superintendent of Documents-. Parts having frequent changes are sold on subscription ( use subscription section of form). Parts which are changed less frequently are sold on a single-sale basis and changes to these parts are sold separately (use publication section of form).
