1. PURPOSE. T h i s o r d e r l i s t s t h e ARSR-2 tower s t a n d a r d drawings, s e r i e s D-5547 and D-5548 i n appendix 1. It i n c l u d e s drawings t o be used when FPS-60 s e r i e s r a d a r a n t e n n a s a r e i n s t a l l e d on ARSR-2 towers.

2. DISTRIBUTION. T h i s o r d e r i s d i s t r i b u t e d t o t h e d i v i s i o n l e v e l i n t h e Airway F a c i l i t i e s and Systems Research and Development S e r v i c e s i n Washington h e a d q u a r t e r s ; t o branch l e v e l i n t h e r e g i o n a l Airway F a c i l i t i e s d i v i s i o n s ( e x c e p t AEU); t h e FAA Depot and t h e F a c i l i t y Support D i v i s i o n a t t h e A e r o n a u t i c a l C e n t e r and t o t h e D i r e c t o r , FAA T e c h n i c a l Center.

3 . BACKGROUND. T h i s s e r i e s of drawings was developed and d i s t r i b u t e d i n 1960. There i s now no c u r r e n t o r d e r which l i s t s t h e drawings. T h e r e f o r e , t h i s o r d e r l i s t s a l l t h e drawings w i t h t h e l a t e s t r e v i s i o n d a t e .

4. APPLICATION. These drawings s h a l l be used f o r t h e f a b r i c a t i o n and e r e c t i o n of ARSR-2 antenna towers. I n q u i r i e s o r comments r e g a r d i n g t h e s e drawings should be d i r e c t e d t o t h e C h i e f , Environmental Systems D i v i s i o n , AAF-500.
