C-172Q Checklist N66111 Please Keep This Checklist In The Aircraft 66111 Cessna 172Q Checklist (rev 4/20) Check out on Sky Manager Wx and Density Alt Weight/Balance Performance Req Flight Plan – File Cabin Cover – remove Pitot Cover – remove Engine cowl plugs - remove Documents Control lock – remove Ignition – Off Avionics master - Off Master - On Flaps – Extend Fuel gauges - correct Turn on all external lights - Visually Inspect Lights, Master – Off Fuel quality – take samples Baggage door – secure Tail tiedown – removed Elevator, trim tab, rudder - Check Antennas – Secure Top of wing - check Flap – check Aileron – check Wingtip and lights – check Wing tiedown – remove Main wheel, tire, brake - inspect Fuel quantity, filler cap, top of wing – inspect Engine oil – check quantity, finger tighten. (6 – 7 qts, 7 qts for extended flights.) Add oil only if less than 5.5 qts.
