FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NorthPoint Aviation purchases Soloy Aviation Solutions NorthPoint Aviation, located in Brainerd Minnesota has come to an agreement to acquire all assets of Soloy Aviation Solutions including the fixed wing, engine, and helicopter STC’s, currently produced by Soloy Aviation including Tradwind’s converted Beechcraft turbine A36 Bonanzas. NorthPoint Aviation includes a dedicated team of highly skilled personnel that have over 75 years of combined aviation experience. They will continue to provide worldwide support of the 25 FAA approved Supplemental Type Certificates (STC’s) for aircraft fixed wing, helicopter and aircraft engine STC’s as well as 23 foreign approvals of Soloy Aviation Solutions products. NorthPoint Aviation is a growing, full-service fixed base operation, offering aircraft sales, brokering & acquisition, aircraft maintenance, avionics & instrument repairs and installations, aircraft management, flight training, aviation fuel sales, aircraft paint and interior refurbishments. NorthPoint Aviation manages a certified FAA Repair Station for their aviation maintenance and avionics customers as well as being a factory approved Cirrus Aircraft and Cessna Aircraft Service Center. NorthPoint Aviation is the home of the NorthPoint XP470 engine performance upgrade for your Cessna 180 or 182 series aircraft(formally P Ponk O-470-50). NorthPoint Aviation’s flight training department has recently been approved as a factory approved Cessna Pilots Center for flight training. They also offer factory certified Beechcraft A36 turbine and Cessna 206 turbine initial and recurrent training. The new ownership will continue to operate as Soloy Aviation using the Soloy Aviation website (www.soloy.com), soloy@soloy.com domain, phone/fax numbers and will continue to produce products at the Olympia, Washington airport (KOLM). Sales, parts, and technical support will be transferred to NorthPoint Aviation’s Brainerd Minnesota location.
