N201DY 09/26/2022 Nationality and Registration Mark Date Tach: 4927.8 The purpose of this alteration is to install a new GTX 345 Transponder. The GTX345 was installed in accordance with Garmin Installation Manual #190-00734-10 Revision 15, dated June 1, 2021 and as per STC SA01714WI. The STC covers all devices interfaced in this installation. This aircraft is on the Approved Model List. Removed: Installed: Garmin GTX 330 TRANSPONDER SSD120 ENCODER GTX 345 Transponder PN:011-0045-00 PN:SSD120-30A PN:011-03302-00 The GTX345 was interfaced with the existing G500 system for HDG/ALT data via ARINC 429, traffic and weather data is supplied to the G500 system via the existing Ethernet connection to the GTN750. The GTX345 was interfaced to the existing GTN750 via RS-232 and Ethernet interface for control and display of data received from the GTX345. Audio alerts are provided to the existing GMA35 audio panel via an un- switched audio port. The GTX345 was coupled to an existing transponder antenna using existing RG-142B/U coax. Power to the GTX345 is supplied from the avionics bus via a 3 Amp CB labeled "GTX". An altitude data correspondence check was completed in accordance with FAR 91.413(b). The Transponder was tested per FAR 91.413 and found to comply with FAR 43, Appendix F. Electrical loading is IAW AC 43.13-2B Chapter 2, page 19, Par. 208; maximum continuous electrical load does not exceed 80% of the capacity of the alternator. Computed new weight and balance and revised equipment list. An FAA approved GTX345 Transponder Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement with ADS-B #190-00734-15, Revision 5 dated June 1, 2021, or later revision, was prepared and placed in the aircraft Flight Manual. The Garmin GTX345 Pilot's Guide #190-01499-00 Rev. G dated December 1, 2021 (or later revision) was placed in the aircraft and must be available to the flight crew whenever navigation is predicated on the use of the system. In accordance with Garmin Installation Manual, a complete operational test was done and the equipment performed satisfactorily and did not adversely affect existing components or systems in the aircraft. INTEGRATED SYSTEM TO GMU 44 MAGNETOMETER INSTALLED IN TAIL AT FS #125.0, USING SUPPLIED UNIVERSAL BRACKET P/N 011-01779-01.
