Vortex Generator Kit Overview
The Micro Vortex Generator Kit includes a total of 82 vortex generators for the wings, 32 for the vertical stabilizer, and 60 for the underside of the stabilator. The kit is designed to be installed in one day and comes with all necessary materials, including detailed drawings and instructions.
Performance Improvements
Installation of the vortex generators results in a significant reduction in stall speed. For the A23-24 Super III Musketeer, stall speeds are reduced from 63 knots to 52 knots with flaps up, and from 53 knots to 46 knots with flaps full, resulting in reductions of 10 knots and 6 knots respectively.
Installation Details
The vortex generators are made from aircraft-grade 6063-T6 aluminum and are alodined to military specifications, ready for painting. The kit includes templates for proper positioning of the vortex generators.
