Installation Fundamentals – Engine Monitoring Module • Avoid severe vibration • Avoid excessive heat. High temperatures can: • cause electronic components to drift, giving inaccurate readings • reduce life span of electronic components • The further away from high energy EMI the better (spark plugs, magneto’s) • No specific orientation • Common question: “Can I cut the wire length of the thermocouple?” • Yes – but make sure you cut the right end and we suggest all wires are equal length for troubleshooting purposes • If you need to extend the length of the wire contact Dynon tech support 425-402-0433
