The tachometer rotor is operating normally. Off and re-igniting the governor card, via switch-breaker operation returns to normal. The event is extremely rare and unpredictable, it is impossible to state with certainty a specific reason. Nevertheless we were able to artificially reproduce the problem in the simulator, injecting a strong electrical noise on the quartz (of microcontroller clock oscillator). Therefore, one can reasonably imagine that the problem is actually due to an electromagnetic noise from the external wiring (relay, electric motors, false contacts, ...). the system has been updated and kept under test (a noise pulse with a duration of 1 second every 10 seconds) for 24 hours (4 cycles of 8). no problems were found. 1.2 Subject: Governor update card. 1.3 Compliance Request application in the next pre-flight inspection.
