SERVICE BULLETIN: # SB ALLERT-71 Rev. 28.01.22 DATE: 13 December 2021 TO: ALL AIRCRAFT EQUIPPED WITH EPA ENGINE 917Ti AFFECTED PRODUCTS: CH77 Ranabot , CH7 Kompress Charlie , CH7 Kompress PRODUCTS / SERIALS: SB ALLERT 71 SUBJECT: FOLLOWING SB 6_2021 BY EPA POWER INSPECTION: MANDATORY REPLACEMENT: COMPLIANCE PROCEDURE: Following SB Nr. 6_2021 posted by EPA, CH-7 HELISPORT HELICOPTER issues the SB ALLERT 71 . 2021 with Mandatory suspension of flight to all CH77 Ranabot CH7 kompress helicopters powered by EPA Engine 917 ti. This in order to investigate with EPA technicians on the cause of the malfunctions found on these type of engines and to determine an official EPA inspection protocol. WARNING: Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the aircraft, personal injury or death 1.2 Subject: After 45 days of in-depth investigations by Epa and Helisport technicians and from the hundreds of data verified by the data logger equipped on each 917Ti engine, no tangible cause was found. Epa power has issued an SL-9_2022 SB-7_2022 and SI-6_2022 to be applied in a mandatory manner, before resuming flights. in accordance with the SB-7_2022 Epa some operating parameters, limitations and alarms have been changed. 1.3 Compliance Application required in the next pre-flight inspection. The application of the SB 71ALLERT must be in accordance with the inspection instructions SB- Page 1 of 2 7_2022 and SI-6_ 2022 Epa power below in section 3. WARNING: Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the aircraft, personal injury or death 2) Material-costs and availability prices and availability will be provided by CH7 HELISPORT HELICOPTER, Authorized Sellers or CH7 SERVICE CENTER 2.1 The Company Shipping costs, downtime, loss of income, telephone costs etc., labor, additional work, are not charged or reimbursed by CH7 HELISPORT HELICOPTER. 2.2 Material 2.4 special equipment / lubricated / glue / sealing compound.
