N149BD - S/N D-9924 1. Drain all fuel. 2. Place plane on the scales. 3. Level the plane front to back using a plumb bob to align the leveling screws on the left side of the fuselage. Level the plane left to right by measuring each wing tip to the floor. 4. Drop a plump bob from the center of the jack points to the floor and mark the floor. 5. Measure 83.1" forward from the jack point mark and mark the floor. This is datum. 6. Measure from datum to the center of the nose wheel axle and note the measurement (12"). This is the nose wheel arm. 7. Pull a string between the main axle centers. Drop a plumb bob from this string to the floor and make a mark. 8. Measure from the main axle center line mark to the datum mark and note this measurement (96.1"). This is the main wheel arm.
