ACHTUNG: Crimpsystem: PIDG Werkzeug: AMP Certi-Lok, AMP-169400 Hinweis: Die Maßnahmen dürfen ausschließlich von einem von der TAE GmbH autorisierten Wartungsbetrieb durchgeführt werden. Um den Kabelbaum 05-7150-E0023xx an die Flugzeugelektrik anschließen zu können sind folgende Umbauten nötig: SUPPRESSOR BOARD UMBAU 1. Das Suppressor Board von der FADEC entfernen. 2. Alle Komponenten von der Grundplatte entfernen. 3. Zwei Blindnietmutter (Pos. 20) in die Grundplatte (Pos. 11) montieren. Siehe Abbildung 1. 4. Befestige beide TVS auf der Grundplatte mit vier Schrauben (Pos. 23), zwei Muttern (Pos. 17) und acht der originalen M3 Scheiben. Siehe Abbildung 2. Anzugsmoment: 1 Nm 5. Beide Sicherungsautomaten (Pos. 14) auf der Grundplatte mit vier Schrauben (Pos. 24), vier Muttern (Pos. 18) und vier Scheiben (Pos. 8) befestigen. Siehe Abbildung 2. Anzugsmoment: 2.3 Nm 6. Die kurzen TVS Leitungen an der Grundplatte befestigen, mittels Schraube (Pos. 19) sowie wieder verwendeter original M5x16 Schraube und M5 Scheiben. Siehe Abbildung 2. 7. Den Schrumpfschlauch an beiden langen Leitungen entfernen und die Leitungen an den TVS auslöten. 8. Die Leitung (Pos. 26) in zwei 0.1 m Stücke teilen. 9. Jeweils eine Ringzunge (Pos. 12) an die Leitungen crimpen, dazu das anfangs gelistete Werkzeug verwenden. Anschließend die Korrektheit der Crimpung durch leichtes Ziehen prüfen. 10. Die Gummikappen (Pos. 10) und den Schrumpfschlauch (Pos. 25) befestigen. Siehe Abbildung 3. 11. Die Leitungen an die TVS löten und die Schrumpfschläuche auf die Leitungen schrumpfen. Siehe Abbildung 4. Lot: Sn60Pb40 Löttemp: 350°C – 400°C Schrumpftemp: 150°C 12. Die anderen Leitungsenden, mittels den originalen Muttern und Scheiben, an den Sicherungsautomaten befestigen. Die Gummikappen an den Leitungen mittels Kabelbindern (Pos. 13) sichern. 14. Die Typenschilder (Pos. 15 und 21) an der Grundplatte anbringen. Siehe Abbildung 5. INSTALLATION 2. MASSEBAND 1. Die Leitung TF-04-N-10 an das Suppressor Board GND B anschließen. 2. Das andere Ende von TF-04-N-10 an der Flugzeug-struktur befestigen. Dafür nicht denselben Punkt wie für TF-03-N-10 nutzen um einen “Single Point” Fehler zu vermeiden. KABELÄNDERUNG 1. Das Waste-Gate-Ventil in der Nähe des hinteren, rechten Motorlagers (neue Position) unter Verwendung von zwei Schellen (Pos. 3), zwei Schrauben (Pos. 4), zwei Muttern (Pos. 5) und vier Scheiben (Pos. 6) installieren. Siehe Abbildung 6. EINBAU ALTREG-WARNLAMPE (nur C172 R,S ohne G1000) 1. Die Warnlampe (Pos. 36) in der Nähe der Funkgeräte installieren. Siehe Abbildung 7. 2. Die AWL Leitungen des AltReg Looms an die offenen Enden des “ Huckepack-Steckers” anschließen um die original Installation beizubehalten. Correction: CAUTION: Disconnect all batteries before working. To connect the engine loom 05-7150-E0023xx to the aircraft electrical system following modifications are required: MODIFICATION OF SUPPRESSOR BOARD 1. Remove the suppressor board from the FADEC. 2. Remove all parts from the base plate. 3. Install two blind rivet nuts (Pos. 20) into the base plate (Pos. 11). See Figure 1. 4. Mount both TVS onto the base plate using four screws (Pos. 23), four nuts (Pos. 17) and eight of the original M3 washers. See Figure 2. Tightening Torque: 1 Nm 5. Mount both CBs (Pos. 14) onto the base plate using four screws (Pos. 24), four nuts (Pos. 18) and four washers (Pos. 8). See Figure 2. Tightening Torque: 2.3 Nm 6. Secure the short cables of the TVS on base plate using screw (Pos. 19) plus reusing original M5x16 screw and two M5 washers. See Figure 2. 7. Remove the shrink tube on both longer cables and remove the cables from TVS using a soldering gun. 8. Cut the cable (Pos. 26) into two 0.1 m pieces. 9. Crimp one ring terminal (Pos. 12) to each new cable, using the initially listed tool. Afterwards check the correctness of crimping by gently pulling. 10. Attach the rubber caps (Pos. 10) and heat shrink tube (Pos. 25). See Figure 3. 11. Solder the cables to the TVS and shrink the heat shrink tube to each cable. See Figure 4. Secure the rubber caps on the cables using cable ties (Pos. 13). 14. Attach the labels (Pos. 15 + Pos. 21) to the base plate. See Figure 5. INSTALLATION OF 2. GND STRAP 1. Connect line TF-04-N-10 to suppressor board GND B. 2. Attach the open end of TF-04-N-10 to A/C structure. Don’t use same point as for TF-03-N-10 to avoid single point failure. WIRING ADAPTATION 1. Replace P/N 20-3940-E005201 by 20-3940-E014501 (Pos. 28) [line TF-01-C-10] 2. Replace P/N 20-3940-E005801 by 20-3940-E014601 (Pos. 29) [line TF-02-C-10] 3. Replace: - P/N 20-3940-E005001 by 20-3940-E014101 at C172 F-P - P/N 20-3940-E005101 by 20-3940-E014301 at C172 R,S [line TF-01-B-10] (Pos. 30) 4. Install the waste gate valve next to engine mounting “rear, right” (new position) using two pipe clamps (Pos. 3), two screws (Pos. 4), two nuts (Pos. 5) and four washer (Pos. 6). See Figure 6. ALTREG WARNING LAMP INSTALLATION (only C172 R,S without G1000) 1. Install the warning lamp (Pos. 36) next to the radios. See Figure 7. 2. Interconnect the warning lamp with port 85 and 86 of the AWL relay using the AWG 20 cable (Pos. 34), the blade receptacles (Pos. 32.3 and Pos. 33.2) as well as heat shrink tube (Pos. 35). Install “piggyback connector” (Pos. 33.2) on the relay side. Use the initially listed tool for crimping. Afterwards check the correctness of crimping by gently pulling. Polarity of installation does not matter.
