Takeoff Performance

The takeoff performance section details the distances required for takeoff with flaps up at a weight of 12,500 lbs under standard conditions. The EPIC package reduces the takeoff distance over a 50 ft obstacle to 2,210 ft, which is 1,060 ft less than the factory specification of 3,270 ft. The balanced field length is 3,990 ft, and the accelerate-stop distance is improved to 3,250 ft.

Climb Performance

This section highlights the climb performance improvements provided by the EPIC package. The two-engine rate of climb at 12,500 lbs is increased to 2,520 ft/min, which is 150 ft/min more than the factory rate of 2,370 ft/min. Additionally, the time-to-climb to 28,000 ft is reduced to 14 minutes, compared to 17 minutes for the factory model.

Cruise Performance

The cruise performance section indicates that the maximum cruise speed at 28,000 ft is enhanced to 314 knots true airspeed (KTAS), which is 14 knots faster than the factory speed of 300 KTAS. The maximum cruise propeller RPM is specified as 1,600 - 1,800, contributing to a quieter cockpit experience.

Landing Performance

Landing performance is also improved with the EPIC package. The approach speed (VREF) is reduced to 90 knots, which is 9 knots slower than the factory specification of 99 knots. The landing distance over a 50 ft obstacle without prop reverse is decreased to 1,810 ft, compared to 2,590 ft for the factory model.

Propeller Specifications

The document specifies the use of 96-inch Raisbeck/Hartzell swept 4-blade propellers, which are designed to enhance performance while reducing noise and vibration.
