MICRO Vortex Generator Kit Cessna 414 • Vmc Virtually Eliminated ! • Reduced Vs, Vso • FAA Certified Numbers • Easy One Day Installation • Improved Characteristics • Kit Price $2145 plus S&H About MICRO Vortex Generators: The MICRO Vortex Generators for the Cessna 414 are now FAA STC approved and ready for installation on your airplane. This jet age technology provides virtual elimination of Vmc, a dramatic improvement in characteristics, reduced stall speeds, reduced accelerate/stop distance, and improved safety. The Micro VG Kit consists of 96 vortex generators mounted on the wings, just aft of the boot line and on both sides of the rudder, plus two strakes (similar to the strakes which Cessna puts on the 303 Crusader) on the outside of the engine nacelles. Included are the STC, an FAA approved Pilot's Operating Handbook Supplement, installation tools, detailed drawings and instructions, templates for positioning VGs, spares, Loctite AA 330 adhesive and all the materials needed for the easy one day installation. The Micro Vortex Generators are manufactured under our FAA PMA from aircraft grade 6063-T6 aluminum, alodined to a mil-spec, ready for painting. As one twin Cessna owner said, "The Micro VGs do everything you said they would do and more -- the tail of my airplane thinks it's four feet taller and the rudder thinks it's two feet longer!"
