This speed is 88 KIAS from seal level to 17,000 feet, decreasing to 80 KIAS at 24,000 feet. If an obstruction dictates the use of a steep climb angle, the best angle of climb speed is 70 KIAS at sea-level, increasing to 73 KIAS at 10,000 feet. This type of climb should be of the minimum duration and engine temperatures should be carefully monitored due to the low climb speed. NOISE CHARACTERISTICS The certificated takeoff noise level for the Cessna Model T206H at 3789 pounds maximum weight is 82.6 dB(A) per 14 CFR 36 Appendix G (through Amendment 36-30). This noise level was established at a maximum weight of 3789 pounds with wing flaps set at 20 degrees for Takeoff and flaps Up for climb at a speed of 88 KIAS and takeoff power. No determination has been made by the Federal Aviation Administration that the noise levels of this airplane are or should be acceptable or unacceptable for operation at, into, or out of, any airport. 351 Airport Dr. Decatur, TX 76234 AFMS No.: 55186-5 Rev.: IR Page: 12 of 36 Pilot’s Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna T206H FAA APPROVED: DATE: 6/13/2016 SECTION 5 PERFORMANCE STALL SPEEDS AT 3789 POUNDS Serials T20608450 thru T20608681 and T20608683 thru T20608704 not incorporating MK206-34-10; T20608682 and T20608705 thru T20608882 not incorporating SB09-34-11 CONDITIONS: Power Idle MOST REARWARD CENTER OF GRAVITY Flap ANGLE OF BANK Settings 0° 30° 45° 60° KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS UP 59 64 66 69 75 76 90 91 20° 58 58 63 62 71 69 84 82 FULL 49 55 55 59 63 65 78 78 MOST FORWARD CENTER OF GRAVITY Flap ANGLE OF BANK Settings 0° 30° 45° 60° KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS UP 65 69 73 74 82 82 99 98 20° 63 62 69 67 76 74 89 88 FULL 53 58 60 62 68 69 82 82 NOTE • Altitude loss during a stall recovery may be as much as 400 feet • KIAS values are approximate Figure 5-4 351 Airport Dr. Decatur, TX 76234 AFMS No.: 55186-5 Rev.: IR Page: 13 of 36 Pilot’s Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna T206H FAA APPROVED: DATE: 6/13/2016 STALL SPEEDS AT 3789 POUNDS Serials T20608450 thru T20608681 and T20608683 thru T20608704 incorporating MK206-34-10; Serials T20608682 and T20608705 thru T20608882 incorporating SB09-34-11 and Serials T20608883 and On CONDITIONS: Power Idle MOST REARWARD CENTER OF GRAVITY Flap ANGLE OF BANK Settings 0° 30° 45° 60° KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS UP 59 64 66 69 75 76 90 91 20° 51 58 56 62 65 69 81 82 FULL 49 55 55 59 63 65 78 78 MOST FORWARD CENTER OF GRAVITY Flap ANGLE OF BANK Settings 0° 30° 45° 60° KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS KIAS KCAS UP 65 69 73 74 82 82 99 98 20° 56 62 63 67 71 74 89 88 FULL 53 58 60 62 68 69 82 82 NOTE • Altitude loss during a stall recovery may be as much as 400 feet • KIAS values are approximate Figure 5-4A 351 Airport Dr. Decatur, TX 76234 AFMS No.: 55186-5 Rev.: IR Page: 14 of 36 Pilot’s Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna T206H ISSUED: DATE: 6/13/2016 SHORT FIELD TAKEOFF DISTANCE AT 3789 POUNDS Serials T20608450 thru T20608681 and T20608683 thru T20608704 not incorporating MK206-34-10; T20608682 and T20608705 thru T20608882 not incorporating SB09-34-11 CONDITIONS: Flaps 20° 2500 RPM, 39 in. hg. and mixture set at 34 GPH prior to brake release.
